I want to say what many people won’t admit: There's no secret to losing weight. A combination of proper nutrition and training does the trick. The challenge—and the biggest problem—is finding the most effective and efficient program for you.
Every body is different and many variables come into play when developing the best eating and exercise plan for you. So where does it all go wrong? Too much restriction and not enough listening to your needs.

I struggled with overtraining, binge drinking, fad diets, under eating and juice cleanses. If it was popular and offered a quick fix, I was on that like white on rice. But, I came to the point when I was sick and tired—literally and figuratively—of losing fat and gaining it back and more.
I don't believe in diets. I don't believe in excessive cardio. And I don't believe in not eating chocolate. Seriously. I love chocolate.
After years of yo-yo weight loss, I discovered my healthiest, happiest routine through eating. And living. And not falling for stupid BS that makes you hate everything about being healthy (see my transformation to the left).
